About
Us
Who We
Are:
Royal Heights
United Church is a congregation diverse in age, family structure and faith tradition.
We are daring and dynamic – seeking to uphold and strengthen our church
family through Christ-centred worship, education, faith development and spiritual
nurturing.
What we
are about:
Our Mission is
to “Uphold the Holy, Be Upheld”
What we
value:
Growing
We seek personal growth and development of our Christian faith through prayer,
worship and bible study. We encourage and support each individual’s search
in claiming their faith and experiencing the holy.
Lay Ministry
We encourage people of every age to exercise their God-given gifts and talents
for service in and beyond the church. We support lay persons in discerning their
spiritual gifts.
Creativity
We value creative and inspirational worship, music and educational programming.
Caring
We care for and uphold one another. We treasure a strong sense of community.
Inclusion
We welcome people of all ages, genders, races, sexual orientations, marital status
and faith traditions. All are encouraged to participate fully in the life and
work of the church.
Collectively,
we are committed to keeping these values at the heart of our decisions.
Our vision
for the future:
Our vision is
to become known as a sacred space in our community: a place that provides opportunities
to grow in Christian discipleship and spiritual awareness.

"I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the desolate pit, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure." (Psalm 40:1-3)
